Hammer On!
This site is dedicated to the band Hammer On! A 'hammer on' is a term for a note sounded by the slamming down of the left hand fingers on the fret board without being picked by the right hand. The obvious parallel to the somewhat percussive nature of the hammered dulcimer has made this term the perfect fit for their eclectic instrumentation.
